Vault would already be a huge improvement, but that is not all that the roadmap has to offer. Vault may have future versions armed with data, and currently Dog Gone Smart is experimenting with such future versions potentially providing:
- Sensors to measure pressure mapping in restlessness or sleep patterns
- Health change behavioral alerts (e.g. increased urination, sign of arthritis)
- Apps synced with animal care sites and vet websites
It may come up with a notification, I imagine, that tells you your dog has been moving a lot at night,
hence being in pain or being anxious, way before you would have ever detected it on your own.
In a way, Vault can already work as a top tier solution at present, but it is thought out with modules in mind,
which means that it will be possible to upgrade and add-on in the future without making it obsolete. Such a design philosophy is the future proof,
and only a limited amount of pet products come with such a philosophy,
which has a special appeal to tech-savvy owners who enjoy such long-lasting products that would become compatible with the tech ecosystem.
Gen Z Values – Conscious Innovation
It is not only features. Value and ethics are of great concern in young pet parents.
- Is it produced in a sustainable way?
- Does it do my pet and the planet any good?
- Is the brand mission-based, and transparent?
Vault ticks all of them. Its recyclable packaging to the dedication to R&D-as-opposed-to- marketing hype is also an example of a next-gen brand to support next-gen consumers.
The Bottom Line: Vault Is A Symptom of What FrankenFour Will Become
Vault itself is not just standing still, it is a platform, it is a point of view and it is a road map to the next ten years of pet care.
It is combining passive smart capabilities with modular scalability and value-centric progression,
which is creating a roadmap towards the future, where the pets, home design, and the digital world work in harmony.
When the rest of your technology is smart enough to know your habits, and your car can drive itself, can you really be happy with a dog wellness bed that is not smart enough?
It already does with Vault.
